In consideration of the mutual promises and benefits hereunder, the parties hereto hereby agree as follows:

1. Gift.

Donor hereby pledges to the Church for the painting of the icon set forth below (the “Icon”) in the Church the following gift:

2. Payment of the Gift.

The Gift is an irrevocable pledge that will be paid to Church in two installments as set forth below:

a. First Installment: 50% of the Gift at the time of delivery of the signed Agreement to the Church.

b. The balance of the Gift shall be paid (check one as applicable)

Donor may accelerate the payment of any or all of this pledge at any time in Donor’s discretion. Payments shall be paid by Donor to Church via check, electronic funds transfer, or other methods acceptable to Church.

3. Acknowledgment.

In consideration for the Gift, the Church will acknowledge the Gift by placing the name of the Donor on the Church literature, the Church records and on a plaque naming the donors that will be placed in the Church.

4. Termination of Naming.

In addition to any rights and remedies available at law, the Church may terminate this Agreement and all rights and benefits of the Donor hereunder (including the use of the Gift for the Icon), upon failure of Donor to make the second installment.

5. Condition.

The placement of the Icon in the Church is subject to the approval of the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Upon any such termination of this Agreement and/or the Naming hereunder, the Church shall have no further obligation or liability to Donor and shall not be required to return any portion of the Gift already paid. The Church, however, may in its sole discretion recognize the Donor for the portion of the Gift already received.
